💌 What if Elon Musk Runs for President - Whenever there is a power vacuum, people crave for a strong person to set up. Things work well for a while until they don’t. This repeats time and again, but it takes a while to fill the gap with a leader who is respected, liked and acts in an inclusive way.

💌 The misunderstood aspect of compounding - The essential thing to keep in mind is that compounding is about the number of iterations, not the time spent. The number of times we “hit refresh” on our behaviors, habits and dreams comes to define who we become. Simply being at it isn’t unfortunately enough. Hard work matters but only if we rethink our assumptions and have the strength and mindfulness to escape the escalation of commitment.

💌 Balaji Srinivasan, Ali Abdaal, CrowdPad, Network Capital - In collaboration with CrowdPad, Network Capital is announcing the launch of a fully funded community building fellowship for creators. CrowdPad is a Web3-native, tokenised community-building tool for everyday creators to create, discover, and manage their tokenised communities all in one place, with a simple TikTok-esque video-first approach to community discovery.

Talent Collective

We strongly believe that talent is equally distributed but opportunities are not. To help fix this divide, we are launching a talent collective that will help our members get access to curated professional opportunities.

As students embark upon their career trajectories, they will learn that complex coordination is the single most important charter for getting stuff done. They will need to learn to inspire people, give tough feedback and do so with empathy. The art of public speaking in important for this.

In the YouthINK with Network Capital Summer School, our students will -

  1. Give a public INK-style talk

  2. Join a global community of curious & ambitious students

  3. Get insights from world leaders, CXOs, & industry professionals

Classes start May 28, 2022.

Have a wonderful week ahead. — Your Network Capital Team
