Glossophobia is the fear of public speaking. Roughly 75% of the world suffers from this social phobia to some extent. The exact cause of glossophobia is hard to pinpoint but both genetic factors and traumatic experiences of one’s past can play a role. There is, however, a silver lining. Deliberate practice can help overcome glossophobia over a period of time. If there is one skill you should work on in 2022, it should be effective public speaking.

💌 Sahil Bloom's Twitter Empire - Take the case of sportsman turned private equity investor turned content creator Sahil Bloom. In the early days of the pandemic, no one knew who he was. Two years out, with a following of 687,000 on Twitter. Lots of people have big followings but Sahil went about making his content create millions of dollars in a structured and strategic way.

💌 The fundamental difference between YouTube and Netflix - YouTube was founded in 2005. It also did $30 billion in revenue last year, +46% year-over-year, and has 2.6 billion users—but unlike Netflix, YouTube didn’t spend any money making that content. All of us created / consumed that content for free.
