I am writing to you from Nice in the South of France. I launched my book with a bunch of fascinating community members in this beautiful city. I have also started a new column with The New Indian Express. In the first article, I reflect on ILO’s latest report on labor trends in India. I explain how the passion economy can offer a glimmer of hope.

“According to a new report by the International Labour Organization, India went through a labour crisis in 2021, especially hurting the youth in the 15-24 age group. Surveys conducted by the Centre for Monitoring the Indian Economy show that the youth employment participation rate declined by 0.9 percentage points over the first nine months of 2021 compared to 2020.”

The essence of passion economy is to do what you love, teach what you love and discover autonomy, mastery and purpose along the way. Towards that end, I am happy to share that Prateek Jain (Product Leader, Twilio; Columbia Business School alum, EB1 visa awardee) will be teaching Hyper-Growth B2B Product Management.
