💌 Sprint, Rest, Repeat: The Opposite of Hustle? The lion model of work is worth considering. Sahil Bloom, who we hosted on Network Capital, says, “Work Like a Lion Most people are not wired to work 9-5. Modern work culture is a remnant of the Industrial Age—long periods of steady, monotonous work. If your goal is to do inspired, creative work, you have to work like a lion. Sprint when inspired. Rest. Repeat.”

💌 4000 Weeks on Earth: New Way of Looking at Time - 4000 weeks. That’s all you get on this planet. At least that is how author Oliver Burkeman puts it. He looks at time management differently in his latest book. These are 5 key takeaways from his analysis.

💌 The Anna Karenina Principle and Voltage Effect: Scalable ideas are all alike; every unscalable idea is unscalable in its own way - The broader point is that as we scale ourselves, we need to live up to a higher benchmark. Sweeping our flaws under the rug can blow up in our face if we are not careful. Yes, we should let most fires burn and most problems that seem insurmountable in the present go away on their own but there are some which left unchecked can lead to significant trouble.
