Today we write to you with an exclusive newsletter on the Young India Fellowship (YIF), Ashoka University.

A Yearlong Fellowship. A Fellow For Life.Started in 2011, the YIF grooms socially conscious leaders and change makers for the 21st century. Offered as Ashoka University’s flagship postgraduate diploma in liberal studies, the YIF is unlike any other graduate-level academic programme. It gives Fellows an opportunity to explore multiple academic and professional avenues within a year. The curriculum is multidisciplinary and the learning opportunities are multidimensional.

Through the YIF, several Fellows have discovered their passion and many have switched their academic or professional trajectories.

Collaborations with leading institutions from across the world are focused on faculty, student and curriculum exchange. These include the University of Pennsylvania; University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; King's College, London; Sciences Po, Paris; University of California, Berkeley; Trinity College, Dublin; Wellesley College and Yale University.

Applications Open | Class of 2022

Preparing leaders and change-makers for the post-pandemic era

• The Class of 2022 will comprise roughly 200 Fellows. The early decision deadline is January 7th, 2021.

• Applicants can be from any country, academic or professional background. The minimum requirement at the time of joining (~August 2021) is an undergraduate degree or equivalent in any discipline, and being no more than 28 years of age as on August 1, 2021. Candidates with work experience and/or postgraduate credentials are welcome to apply.

• There is no fee to apply to the programme. Upto 100% need-based financial aid is offered to selected candidates (who apply for aid during the process). The programme fee for the Class of 2022 will not be increased from last year.
